“Volunteering with Northwest Education Access has been really meaningful. I think it's a wonderful program and I hope more places get a program like this. I think it's very special that we have this here.”

why volunteer with us

  • ACCESS

As a volunteer, you support young people in accessing the information, tools, and coaching they deserve to succeed in higher education and beyond.

  • SUPPORT

Our volunteer opportunities are grounded in our supportive relationship model and research-based practices. You’ll build meaningful relationships while supporting students’ growth with your insight and expertise.

  • Community

Whether you're participating in events, collaborating on projects, or building connections with students and staff, you’ll be part of a community of folks who want to make education accessible for all.

  • IMPACT

Sharing your time, knowledge, and skills makes a difference. Volunteers contribute to advocacy, empowerment, and anti-racist work. Even an hour of your time can make a significant impact on a student’s education and career journey.

This path is ideal for volunteers seeking to make a longer-term impact and build relationships with our community. Volunteers can adjust their availability status and sign up for project preference.
