Alumni & Students Advisory Board (ASAB)
Alumni bring valuable firsthand insight into the student experience, challenges, and needs, which is why we actively involve them in our Alumni & Student Advisory Board. At Northwest Education Access, we recognize the importance of student representation in shaping our initiatives. This advisory board is essential for capturing diverse perspectives and ensuring that student voices contribute meaningfully to our mission and efforts.
As part of our annual process, we invite new members to join the Alumni & Student Advisory Board each August/September, with their terms beginning in October. We encourage interested individuals to remain attentive for the upcoming application form which will be released this summer.
Benefits of ASAB:
Act as a representative for the communities we support.
Advocate for comprehensive government policies on a state-wide level.- Receive a quarterly stipend of $350, totaling to $1,400 annually.
Acquire essential professional development skills, including public speaking, time management, networking, and effective communication.
Enhance your understanding of non-profit systems and operational procedures.
ASAB members Learn, Actively Participate, and Represent.
